French chateu Wedding

I used to work in a call centre (for my sins) and one thing that made it infinitely more bearable was this cool chick called Katie. One day she told me about a handsome lad that she saw walking to work every morning that she’d matched with on Tinder. Yes this is going somewhere, you guessed it, they got married! And they asked me to shoot it. And I cried during the ceremony and then I got drunk in the evening and we all sang along to ‘Sweet Disposition’ by Temper Trap and cried some more.

Most days I love my job but sometimes I really, really love my job and those days are when I get to photograph an old friend getting married to one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met in a French chateau, in glorious sunshine, with wild swimming, a Cremant (Dolly Alderton’s tipple of choice) reception and a reading from Alain de Botton’s “Why You Will Marry the Wrong Person” during their outdoor humanist ceremony.

Scroll down to see this wonderfully sunny destination wedding at Chateau de Camon with an al fresco wedding breakfast, protea bouquets and not one but two gorgeous dresses from Alexander Wang and Alice Temperley.
